Baggy Green Tour

Commonwealth Bank

450+

pieces of earned coverage across the tour

When Australia's favourite cricketer Shane Warne auctioned his iconic Baggy Green to raise much-needed funds for victims of the 2020 Australian bushfires, CommBank purchased it for $1M. We then created the Baggy Green Tour, visiting local cricket clubs and Commonwealth bank branches in 20+ regional towns.

We amplified every stop along the way providing media with CommBank spokespeople and local case studies. We also provided broadcast outlets with B-Roll footage shot in specific locations who weren't able to get a film crew to attend to ensure additional mass media coverage in all locations. To mark the end of the CommBank Baggy Green Tour we hosted a handover event at the Bradman Museum in Bowral on Sir Donald Bradman's birthday.

As an ongoing part of this campaign, we worked with the Bradman Museum to design and create a permanent Baggy Green Exhibition, including an entire wall dedicated to CommBank. This wall will be telling the story of CBA's Baggy Green Tour to the museum's annual 30,000 visitors for the next ten years.
